World Cup Hockey 2014

Yesterday, I was witness to a great day of sport. The World Cup Hockey was being held in The Hague and I photographed a few games. At this level, the pace is fast and the clashes rather physical. The game between the Australian and Spanish guys especially so. Another game between the Kiwis and Korea also gave some excellent action. The Aussie women played a great game too, trouncing Japan. It was a spectacular show of athleticism and I was like a kid in a candy store with my new 70-200 2.8 lens with 1.4 x tele convertor attached. Even though I was far away from the play by professional standards, I still managed to snap a few key moments. See for yourself. Andrew
